In this Biography Channel series profiling famous Serial Killers, we designed and built some environment for reenactment scenes and as backdrops for interviews with victims and prosecutors. A Courtroom Set with repositionable pieces and an old fashioned witness stand casts eerie shadows in the background. Using crime scene photos, we built a replica of the Philadelphia Serial Killer Gary Heidniks’s basement. The Set was built up on a 3’ platform to allow for a fake dirt pit created to show the point of view of the victims shackled in this basement of horrors.
