Ready Set Go! | Design + Build

In 2009, as Trading Spaces was starting to wind down, Genevieve Gorder, one of the original Designers, was given her own show on the new Home and Garden Channel. She and I always had a really good working relationship, so she asked me to come on along and be her project manager and On-Camera Carpenter. The exciting thing about her show was that it was going to have larger budgets and more radical renovations than we could afford or have time for on Trading. Each episode was shot in the North Jersey/ New York City area, and took a week to renovate and shoot. I ended up doing 2 seasons from 2009-2011, when I decided to stop travelling so much, and work closer to the Philadelphia area.
