One definition of an art director is someone who translates desired moods, messages, concepts, and underdeveloped ideas into imagery. Whether the inspiration is from a script, treatment, storyboard, or just an idea, we work hard to ask the right questions, and give the right feedback to bring the vision of the director and DP to life.
Ready Set Go has over 20 years of art directing experience, working closely with producers and directors all over the US, with extended stints in New York and Los Angeles. We currently run our day-to-day operation in Philadelphia, doing work primarily in the Mid-Atlantic East Coast Region. Being a full service art department, we source the props and set dressing, and work with the studio to reach the shooting deadline in an organized and timely manner. While filming on set, our team of art directors, prop masters, set decorators, Food Stylists and scenic artists act like the calm professionals they are, helping in any way to make the scene look better than anticipated.
